Collagen for the skin

We have large amounts of collagen in our bodies, where up to 70% of all collagen is found in the skin. Collagen is a fibrous protein consisting of amino acids in long rows that provide firmness, structure and elasticity. The body's own collagen production reaches its peak around the age of 25, then it decreases with increasing age.
