Elixir Mushroom Complex with Lion's mane: For focus, memory and concentration
Our mushroom complex with Lion's mane is a food supplement that improves focus, memory and concentration.
The product consists of three different mushrooms and extracts from the Bacopa monnieri plant which help support cognitive function, learning and memory. Bacopa monnieri also helps improve concentration.
Lion's mane
Lion's mane is an edible mushroom that has an appearance reminiscent of a lion's mane. It has a long history in Chinese medicine and is called hedgehog mushroom in Swedish. The fruiting body of the mushroom is used, which contains high levels of active substances, mainly in the form of polysaccharides, including beta-glucans. It is usually classified as a so-called nootropic, which are substances that are considered to affect our mental function.
Cordyceps
Cordyceps is a mushroom that has long been used in Chinese culture. In Swedish, cordyceps is called larvsvamp and has in the past been a very precious mushroom that only the wealthy had access to. Nowadays, cordyceps is cultivated on a larger scale and interest in its properties has also increased outside of China in recent years. Cordyceps contains high levels of active substances, polysaccharides, but also vitamins and minerals.
Maitake
Maitake is an Asian edible mushroom, which in Swedish is called coral tick. The name maitake is derived from the Japanese words "mai" meaning dance and "take" meaning mushroom. The name refers to the joy that people felt when they found these mushrooms in nature. It was considered valuable both in cooking and for health. Maitake contains high levels of polysaccharides but also vitamins and antioxidants.
Bacopa monnieri
Bacopa monnieri is an herb that grows wild in wetlands and ponds. Bacopa is also called Brahmi and has a long history in Ayurveda in India where it has been used for over 3000 years. The herb is valued for its effects on cognitive functions such as focus, memory and also has the ability to contribute to reduced stress.

Our mushroom complex with Reishi is a dietary supplement for the immune system. The product consists of four mushrooms with a high proportion of active substances including polysaccharides, beta-glucans and triterpenes.

Reishi
Reishi is a mushroom that has been used for over 2000 years, mainly in China. These mushrooms are large and reddish brown and grow wild in many different countries. Reishi is rich in active substances, so-called polysaccharides. There are many different polysaccharides, but Reishi mainly contains beta-glucans and triterpenes. Reishi contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
Chaga
Chaga is called sprängticka in Swedish. Chaga is a slightly different mushroom as it does not grow on the ground but is found on the bark of certain types of trees, especially birches. Chaga thrives in cold climates such as in North America, the Nordic countries (including Sweden) and in parts of Asia. Chaga has long been used in Russia, Korea and Eastern Europe. Chaga contains many active compounds including beta-glucans, triterpenes and polyphenols.
Shiitake
Shiitake is an edible mushroom that originates from eastern Asia, especially from Japan, China and Korea. It has long been an important part of Asian cooking. Shiitake contains several vitamins and minerals as well as polysaccharides including beta-glucans
What is mushroom extract?
Mushroom extract is a concentrated preparation of mushrooms, for example in the form of a powder, with a high content of bioactive substances.
How much mushroom extract does one capsule contain?
Our capsules contain 350 mg and 500 mg of extract respectively. Recommended daily dose is 1 capsule.
Can I supplement Elexir Mushroom Complex with other nutritional supplements?
Yes, you can supplement our mushroom extracts with other supplements. Always follow recommended use. If you are unsure or suspect a nutritional deficiency or illness, you should contact a dietician or doctor.
Why are mushrooms good as a dietary supplement?
Mushrooms can be good as a dietary supplement for several different reasons:
Nutritious: Mushrooms contain a variety of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. Some mushrooms are particularly rich in certain nutrients, such as vitamin D, B vitamins, potassium, zinc and iron.

For adults, the daily dose is usually between 75 mg and 110 mg, how high doses you need depends on gender and age. Different daily amounts apply to children and pregnant women. Keep in mind that these are only general recommendations and individual aspects may affect your daily need for vitamin C.
