Saffron extract contributes to an emotional/emotional balance, positive mood and relaxation. Ashwaganda and rose root are adaptogens that help the body deal with physical exhaustion and emotional stress.
Negative stress
Stress is part of our everyday life and something we constantly have to deal with and find a balance between positive and negative stress. Common causes of negative stress can be high demands, unsatisfied needs, over- and under-stimulation, conflicts, perceived lack of time, etc. Our bodies are developed to deal with short-term stress, to flee or fight for shorter moments. The everyday life many of us live in today leads to chronic, long-term stress with too little recovery, which affects our health negatively. You may feel tired and exhausted, find it difficult to focus and also feel depressed.
To help the body, we recommend regular exercise, extra rest, ask for help, practice saying no and, of course, prioritize a varied, healthy diet.
Saffron – the world's most expensive spice
Saffron is probably known to most people as a fragrant spice and is perhaps mostly used during Christmas baking in Sweden, but in other countries it is more commonly used in cooking. Saffron crocus has been cultivated for over 3,000 years, but traces of saffron have been found in depictions in Iran that are as much as 50,000 years old! Saffron is the world's most expensive and exclusive spice and it is no wonder that at least 100,000-150,000 crocuses are required, which must be picked and cleaned by hand, to extract 1 kg of corked saffron.
Saffron contains the substance crocin, which gives the spice its beautiful yellow-red color but which is also attributed to several of saffron's fine properties. Saffron is added to Good Mood as it has a relaxing effect on the body but also contributes to a positive mood and emotional balance.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha is an herb/root that has become very popular in the western world in recent years but is not really new. Ashwagandha has been used for about 4000 years in Ayurveda in India and is also called "Indian ginseng". Ashwagandha is known to be able to influence the quality of life in our everyday life. Mainly through a soothing and calming feeling, which creates better conditions for harmony and joy.
Behind this property lies Ashwagandhan's ability to help us deal with everyday stress. It counteracts the negative effects of stress and promotes mental and physical relaxation.
Rose root
Rose root belongs to the category of adaptogens and can have a positive effect on physical exhaustion and emotional stress. Rose root is a plant that got its name from the fact that the plant's root has a lovely scent of roses. Rose root thrives best in colder climates and therefore grows, among other things, in our Swedish mountains. Rose root is considered to have properties that support the body both mentally and physically in connection with stress, which can contribute to increased energy and well-being.
Lactium®
Lactium® is the name of a special patented peptide extracted from the milk protein casein. This peptide was actually discovered thanks to babies. By observing how recently fed newborn babies became so calm from milk, they began to look at which substance(s) had this effect. Researchers succeeded in identifying a hydrolyzed milk protein that contained a bioactive peptide attributed to these properties called alpha-casozepine. Lactium® was launched on the market in 2002 and won a bronze medal at "Health Ingredients Europe" in 2004 for "Most Innovative Nutritional Ingredient of the Year".
Lactium® contains less than 0.5% lactose.
