That omega-3 are essential fatty acids is well known today, but the majority of omega-3 products on the market are based on fish oil. Omega-3 Vegan suits you who want a vegan alternative with oil from specially grown algae. The capsules and remaining contents are of course also completely vegan.

EPA and DHA

We all need fat for our bodies to function properly. There are certain fatty acids that are more important than others and that the body cannot manufacture itself, essential fatty acids. Two of these are eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and they are found in high concentrations in fatty fish from cold waters and also in krill.

Vegan option

Many people today opt out of the products from these sources for various reasons. It could be an allergy to fish, a stance on not eating animals or maybe you think about how fishing or these sources of omega-3 are conducted. Regardless of the reason, we at Elexir Pharma have an alternative of the absolute highest possible quality in the form of Vegan Omega-3.

Vegan Omega-3 is made from algae instead of fish, specifically from Schizochytrium sp algae which is naturally rich in Omega-3. However, we are not satisfied with just letting the source of the essential fatty acids be vegan, but the entire capsule with its contents is. This is so that Vegan Omega-3 will suit everyone.

Vegan Omega-3 is a dietary supplement to be taken daily. We recommend that you take 1-2 capsules in connection with a meal, and then preferably in connection with a meal. This gives a total of 300-600 mg of EPA and DHA, which then contribute to the normal function of the heart. With an intake of at least 250 mg of DHA daily, this fatty acid contributes to the normal functioning of the brain and the maintenance of normal vision.
